Bill Liblick –The Mouth That Roars

To Host New WVOS-AM Talk Show

 

Bill Liblick, known to Sullivan County residents for his highly opinionated and often controversial “The Mouth That Roars” column in the Sullivan County Democrat will be hosting a new weekend call-in talk show on Talk 1240 WVOS-AM, beginning Saturday February 3, from 9 am to 1 pm.

Helena Manzione, General Manager for Talk 1240 WVOS-AM, in announcing the new show, stated, “Bill Liblick has an opinion on everything, and he's not afraid to let you know it. He speaks for real people, with real ideals, values and fears. We are delighted to provide him and Sullivan County residents with this exciting new call-in show.”

The show, which will air every Saturday and Sunday, “will give Sullivan County residents a forum in which to voice their opinions on issues facing them and be heard. It will no longer be business as usual,” Liblick stated.

Bill Liblick –The Mouth That Roars, will feature live in studio guests. “This will provide Liblick and callers with the opportunity to ask “In Your Face” type questions of newsmakers, and get the answers they normally would not hear anyplace else,” Manzione stated.

Liblick added, “There is certain to be lively debate on many issues confronting us, and hopefully it will be the catalyst for positive change in Sullivan County.”

The show will also delve into local news stories, and highlight community events.

Liblick, a journalist who ran a chain of weekly newspapers in New York City, and previously hosted his own call-in radio talk show, gained notoriety for speaking up on more than 300 talk shows, often stealing the spotlight from the guests and hosts.

He was moved to center stage as the “Judge” on Ricki Lake’s talk show, where he delivered outrageous sentences to those he found guilty. The shows proved to be Lake's highest rated and most entertaining.

Liblick has been featured on the front page of the prestigious Wall Street Journal, and in New York Magazine. Dateline NBC, Inside Edition, Extra, Entertainment Tonight, Good Morning America, 48 Hours, are among the many television shows that devoted segments to him.

He also starred as himself in the ABC sitcom "Maybe This Time," opposite Marie Osmond and Betty White, where he played an "In Your Face" television host.

 

Liblick has served on the Board of Directors of many civic, and charitable organizations. He has also been involved in many political campaigns.

Bill Liblick –The Mouth That Roars will be the launching pad for this new talk format to be heard on the station’s Talk 1240 WVOS-AM dial, starting Saturday February 3rd from 9 am to 1 pm.  The show will then air every Saturday and Sunday thereafter from 9 am to 1 pm.
